The multitalented Heather Ács—who stars with Siobhan Aluvalot and Brontez Purnell in SSB’s co-production of the 2018 Outfest Platinum Centerpiece Our Future Ends by artist and filmmaker Clement Hil Goldberg—is also the director of Flu$h, a short film selected to be screened at this year’s Outfest.
In Flu$h, Roxy, a high-femme punk, multitasks between a hot date and a hilarious group-domination session with a cadre of her fabulous queer friends. Flu$h is the first in a series of short films produced by FemmePower Productions.
Some Serious Business was founded in Los Angeles in 1976, producing first-ever performances by Laurie Anderson, Philip Glass, Robert Wilson and Lucinda Childs, Nam June Paik, Linda Montano, Hermann Nitsch, and many other seminal figures of the Conceptual 70s. We’re delighted to present Clement’s brilliant satire and celebrate the artist’s creative collaborators in partnership with Outfest.
