Elizabeth Freeman is a co-founder of Some Serious Business. In the 70s she worked as an Editor for the influential WET Magazine and for Environmental Communications, two important organizations advancing art and contemporary culture in Venice, California. Since 1997, she has directed Kauai-style holiday wonderland at the Festival of Lights, a folk-art celebration conveying the humor and whimsy of living on the Garden Island. Hundreds of thousands of holiday lights illuminate the Kauai Historic County Building Park while holiday-themed decorations made from recycled materials such as water bottles, aluminum cans, CDs, SPAM cans and more adorn the trees in the Interior. This display welcomes both residents and visitors into a world of childhood, joy and wonder.
