SSB AWAY artist in residence Amy Hills performs live the music and words from The History of You and Me—her new, twelve-song collection and corresponding autobiographical memoir. Coming out of the “Antifolk” music community in New York’s East Village in the early 2000s, Amy’s melodic story echoes her evolution from broke, pregnant, and single in NYC to middle-class mom—from feeling untethered to finding a way to tap back into and share her creative being.
